When logging into CloudQuery Platform for the first time, you may be presented with a screen like this:

To proceed, you will need either an CloudQuery API key, or an offline key. These will only be available if your organization already has a CloudQuery account, so what you need to do next depends on this.

Scenario 1: You already have a CloudQuery account

API Key Activation

  1. Copy the key into the field on Platform and click Continue.

API key activation will also allow plugins to be downloaded from the CloudQuery Hub.

Offline License Key Activation

Scenario 2: You don't have a CloudQuery account yet

Visit and create a new API key.

Offline license keys allow CloudQuery Platform to run in an airgapped environment without a connection to the CloudQuery API. This is only available upon request. If you already have an offline license key, upload it by clicking the button. If you would like to discuss obtaining a new offline license key, please .

If your organization does not have a CloudQuery account yet, , we will be happy to help you get set up quickly.
